евгений герасимов Этот проект по масштабу и своему вли- янию на окружающее пространство я бы сравнил с Пласа-Майор в Мадри- де или площадью Вогезов в Париже, ког- да посреди средневекового хаоса возни- кает жёсткая и масштабная структура. При этом она не является производной от окружения, а сама создаёт зону при- тяжения и становится тем самым градо- образующим элементом, вокруг которо- го прежние пространства наполняются новым содержанием. Так и здесь: на за- брошенной территории бывшего трам- вайного парка появляется современный комплекс с аркадами, как в Гостином дворе в Петербурге или галереях Бо- лоньи, и вслед за этим оживают сосед- ние старые улицы и весь район преоб- ражается. Очень важно с самого начала понять, что может быть реализовано, а что — нет. Опыт архитектора позволяет за- ранее спрогнозировать, какой будет ситуация на строительной площадке. Придумать и нарисовать можно всё что угодно. Другое дело — брать на себя ответственность и предлагать заказчику только то, что действительно можно ре- ализовать. И тогда уже добиваться мак- симального осуществления задуманно- го. Мы с Сергеем так и поступаем. Жизнь показала правильность нашего подхода, прикоторомпроектможет быть реализован очередями. Другие проекты подразумевали создание единых, огром- ных ансамблей на сотни тысяч квадрат- ных метров. Мы же разделили комплекс на отдельно стоящие корпуса, которые органично увязаны в единую структуру, исторический контекст и принцип поочерёдности застройки

My architectural experience allows predicting in advance what situation will develop at the construction site. You can invent and draw whatever you like. But it is a different story to take the responsi- bility and offer the client only what can be really materialized. Only in this case you may insist on implementation of your de- sign to the maximum extent possible. Sergei and I always work in this manner. Life has proven that our approach was cor- rect.
