Надо отметить, что со стороны КГИОП (Комитет по использованию и охране памятников — прим. ред.) правила игры были обозначены сразу. С точки зрения охраны исторических памятников были некие сомнения по поводу одного старо- го здания в Дегтярном переулке. В итоге это здание мы включили в проект, сохра- нив его в большем объёме, чем планиро- валось изначально. Сейчас в нём распо- лагается служба заказчика. Также речь шла о трансформаторной подстанции начала ХХ века и о нескольких соседних, отдельно стоящих, скажем так, «незави- симых» домах. Эти здания полностью сохранены.

The Committee expressed its concerns con- nected with preservation of one heritage building in Degtyarny Lane. As a result, we included this house in our project, having saved it even to a larger extent than it was originally planned. Now it is used as the business office of our client. Also there were questions connected with reconstruc- tion of a transformer substation erected in the beginning of the twentieth century and several adjoining detached, let’s say, “independent” houses. All these buildings have been completely preserved.

Группа «ВТБ Девелопмент» дей- ствовала максимально ответственно. В это нелёгкое время (напомню, реализа- ция проекта пришлась сразу на несколь- ко экономических кризисов) заказчик не пошёл по пути тотальной экономии, не стал упрощать проект, отказываться от важных его элементов. реализация проекта

evgeny gerasimov I would say that at present our original proj- ect is almost realized and construction is 85- 90% completed. This is a very high percent- age. We may say we were lucky to work with such an ideal client. VTB Development al- ways acted in a responsible and scrupulous manner. During this difficult time (I need to remind that the project implementation coincided with several economic crises), the customer did not follow the path of total cost-cutting and did not scale back the proj- ect or refused from its important elements.
