сергей чобан Я не согласен с утверждением, что наш проект выполнен в стиле петербургской неоклассики. Петербургская неокласси- ка — это определённое течение, которое возникло в Петербурге в начале ХХ века как одно из отражений похожих архи- тектурных процессов, происходящих в то же самое время в других странах — Италии, Франции, Германии. Это тече- ние оформилось в результате абсолютно равнозначного обмена опытом между такими архитекторами, как Иван Фо- мин, Леонтий Бенуа или Петер Беренс с его знаменитым проектом немецкого посольства. Но каждому очевидно, что Петербург — это не город одного только неоклассицизма. Город на протяжении всей своей истории жил самыми совре- менными направлениями, которые су- ществовали в мире. Возник Петербург на излёте барокко, существовал как го- род палладианства и ампира, на рубеже XIX и XX веков здесь расцветал север- ный модерн. Нельзя не вспомнить так- же неоклассицизм и конструктивизм, ар-деко, модернизм: в Петербурге очень много разных стилей, представленных выдающимися зданиями. Понятно, что архитектуре свойственна преемственность. При этом я не согласен с тем, что мы постоянно должны обра- щаться к прошлому. Для этого нет ника- ких оснований. Современная архитекту- ра должна быть продуктом своей эпохи, и я надеюсь, что «Невская Ратуша» будет восприниматься в будущем именно как архитектура своего времени. евгений герасимов Любой стиль в Петербурге приобретает своё звучание. Московский классицизм Бове или Жилярди отличается от пе- тербургского классицизма, московский конструктивизм отличается от петер- бургского. Точно так же обстоит дело и с новой архитектурой. В «Невской Ратуше» современная архитектура зву- чит в петербургском преломлении: это и большая форма, и большие открытые пространства, и ясная чёткая структу- ра. Можно сказать, что «Невская Ра- туша» разговаривает с горожанами на современном языке с петербургским акцентом.

sergei tchoban I do not agree with the conclusion that our project is made in St. Petersburg neoclassic style. Petersburg neoclassicism was a cer- tain architectural movement in the city development at the beginning of the 20th century, which nowadays may be treated as a reflection of similar processes taking place at the same time in other countries — Ita- ly, France, Germany. This trend was final- ized and shaped as a result of an absolutely equal exchange of experience between such architects as Ivan Fomin, Leonti Benoit or Peter Behrens with his famous design of the German Embassy. But it is quite ob- vious that neoclassical style is not the only one in which all St. Petersburg houses are built. Throughout its history the city archi- tecture reflected the most modern trends that existed in the world at those times. Pe- tersburg emerged at the end of the Baroque period, lived through the years of the Pal- ladian and the Empire styles, at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries the North- ern Art Nouveau flourished here. Also it is necessary to recall the eras of neoclassicism and constructivism, art deco and modern- ism. Thus, there are many different styles in St. Petersburg represented by many out- standing buildings. However it is well-know that inherent fea- tures of architecture are its continuity and devotion to the legacy of the previous gener- ations. However, I do not agree with the fact that we must constantly refer to the past. There is no reason for this. Modern archi- tecture should be the product of its era, and I hope that Nevskaya City Hall will be per- ceived in the future precisely as the archi- tecture of our time. evgeny gerasimov Any style in St. Petersburg gains recogni- tion. However, Moscow classicism of Beau- vais or Gilardi differs from St. Petersburg’s classicism, Moscow constructivism differs from St. Petersburg’s. The same is true with the new architecture. In Nevskaya City Hall, modern architecture is attuned to St. Peters- burg’s rhythms and melodies: huge forms, large open spaces, distinct outlines, well- defined structures. We can say that Nevs- kaya City Hall speaks with the city residents and guests in their own modern language but with a St. Petersburg’s accent.
