За время работы бюро приняло участие в 20 проектах жилых комплексов и от‑ дельных зданий в качестве разработчи‑ ка фасадов. Задача, к которой архитекто‑ ры относятся скорее снисходительно или предпочитают стыдливо прятать, вырос‑ ла в практике бюро в отдельное направ‑ ление и получило осмысление, превра‑ тившись из технической и коммерческой в градостроительную. Каждый фасад‑ ный проект имеет собственный характер, но стремится максимально полно и раз‑ нообразно ответить своему контексту, например, цветовой палитре окружения. Firmitas, равно как и utilitas, не подлежат изменениям, остаётся venustas, или, если воспользоваться английским переводом знаменитой троицы Витрувия — delight. Красота, удовольствие рождаются в рам‑ ках сложной игры типового и уникально‑ го, ритма, детали, фигур и фона на фасаде. Игра в переносном смысле слова предпо‑ лагает перебор сотен возможных (но от‑ вечающих всем ограничениям и требова‑ ниям) вариантов для одного объекта.

During the period of its activity the Bureau participated in development of 20 civil en‑ gineering projects, designing the facades of individual residential buildings and res‑ idential compounds. This task that the ar‑ chitects are rather condescending to or even bashful about, grew to become a whole new sector in the Bureau’s practice, having trans‑ formed from an engineering and commer‑ cial activity into an urban planning one. Each facade project has its own character, but striving to comprehensively comply with its context, e. g. its surrounding’s color palette. Neither firmitas, nor utilitas are subject to change, which leaves us with ve‑ nustas, or, if we translate the famous trinity of Vitruvius into English, the delight. Beau‑ ty and pleasure are born within a complex game of the run-of-the-mill and unique, of rhythm, shapes and background details of a building’s facade. The game, in a figu‑ rative sense, involves picking and choosing from hundreds of possible (within certain constraints and requirements) options for a single facility.
