Основная идея работы над проектом состояла в том, чтобы отыс- кать правильное соотношение программных компонентов чрезвычай- но сложной и разноплановой коллекции. Выбрав чистую геометричес- кую форму в качестве вместилища всего многообразия имеющегося материала, мы получили возможность предложить городу проект, об- ладающий понятной, четко выраженной индивидуальностью. Распо- ложение каждого из зданий музейного комплекса, на первый взгляд, случайное, на самом деле детально просчитано для того, чтобы каж- дый объект оптимально выполнял отведенную ему роль. Характерный для Перми климатический цикл замерзания и оттепе- ли подсказал идею объединить городскую застройку с набережной, спроектировав музейный комплекс в виде тающей глыбы льда, вода которой стекает в реку. На территории предусмотрены открытые пло- щади, которые выходят к югу, открывая вход в музей для жителей го- рода, и к северу, задействуя таким образом набережную. После разделения программных функций были сформулированы параметры зданий с учетом требований каждой отдельной коллекции – способа показа, согласно первоначальному замыслу, масштаба, па- раметров светового оформления – и спроектированы соответствую- щие залы. 684550 | TaTiana BilBao | Мехико, Мексика | участник

The basic idea of the design is to find a proper correlation of the program components of the extremely complex and ver- satile collection. Having chosen an absolute geometrical form as a receptacle of the whole variety of the available material, we get an opportunity to offer the city a design, which has a well defined individuality. At first sight the location of each of buildings of the Museum complex, is chaotic, but in fact it is calculated in such a way that each object has an opportunity to fulfill its role in the most optimal manner. Typical to Perm climatic cycle of freezing and thawing has prompted the idea to unite the buildings, located in this dis- trict with the river embankment, having designed the Museum complex as a thawing block of ice, the water of which flows into the river. The territory incorporates the open spaces, which lead to the south (opening for the visitors the entrance to the Museum) and to the north, where it includes the riverbed with an embankment. After the segregation of the program functions, the building parameters have been formulated, taking into account the re- quirements for each separate collection, namely the manner of the artifact display and the correspondence to the initial plan, scale, parameters of illumination. In accordance with these re- quirements the halls and the showrooms have been designed.
