Внеконтекстуальный и внемасштабный объем музея свободной формы подчеркивает протяженность набережной и подхватывает ее горизонтальное развитие в противовес вертикалям комплекса Kama- gates. Система внешних разноуровневых пандусов связывает между собой отделённую железнодорожными путями набережную и здание музея в единое выставочно-парковое пространство, создавая обще- городской центр притяжения. Пандусы, которые рассматриваются как часть музея, функционирующая 24 часа в сутки, планируется исполь- зовать максимально разнообразно: для соединения здания музея с городом, в качестве смотровых площадок и мультимедийного обще- ственного пространства за счет размещения на них инфоблоков, обес- печения независимых входов на разные уровни музея. В здании музея предполагаются три коммуникационных ядра, два из которых – слу- жебные, оставшийся предоставлен в полное распоряжение посетите- лей. Связь между уровнями также осуществляется с помощью внут- ренних пандусов, идущих как в пространстве центрального атриума, так и периметрально. Внешняя оболочка музея представляет собой двухслойную струк- туру – монолитную железобетонную шестигранную сетку и стеклян- ную облицовку. Железобетонная сетка имеет сечение 60х60см и вид- на в интерьере.

Out-of-concept and out-of-scale volume of the new Muse- um with its free shape emphasizes the length of the embank- ment and accentuates its horizontal development as a coun- terbalance to the vertical planes of the Kamagates Complex. The system of the external varied-level ramps connects the em- bankment with the museum building separated by the railway tracks. Thus a uniform exhibition and park space is created, which will become the all-city centre of attraction. The ramps, which are considered to be the part of the museum, will func- tion 24 hours a day. It is planned to use these ramps in a maxi- mum variable manner: to connect the Museum building with the city, to provide an independent entry to each level of the museum, to use them as scenic view points and multimedia public spaces, having located the information equipment on them. Inside the Museum building there are three communi- cation nuclei, two of which are auxiliary, and one is totally ac- cessible to the visitors. The inter-level connections are built in the form of the internal ramps, running both inside the central space of the atrium, and along its perimeters. The external frame of the museum represents a two-layer structure built of monolithic ferro-concrete. It resembles a six- sided grid with glass facing. The ferro-concrete grid has the sec- tion of 60х60 cm and is visible from the interior.
