На площадке, где расположены оба здания комплекса, когда-то находилось первое про- мышленное производство, помещавшееся в кирпичных зданиях. Именно кирпич стал точ- кой отсчета для развития темы среды и контек- ста. Дома, отдаленно намекая на свое сходство с заводским кирпичным стилем прошлого века, тем не менее, демонстрируют черты необычно- сти: легкий наклон стен меньшего из корпусов, который к тому же «отступает» внутрь кварта- ла, чтобы дать воздуха окружающим зданиям, оптическая «обратная» перспектива, «разлом», оформленный с одной стороны выступом сти- лобата, а с другой – консолью.

On the site where both buildings of the com- pound are situated, there was the first industri- al production site situated in brick buildings. It is the brick that was the starting point for the theme of environment and context. The houses, vague- ly resembling the industrial brick style of the last century, however possess unusual traits: the light inclination of the walls of the smaller of the build- ings that also “steps back” inside the quarter to give air to the surrounding buildings, the optical reverse perspective, the rupture that is shaped by a stylobate protrusion from one side and the con- sole from the other side.
