CEBRA architects is a Danish office with a background in the internationally renowned architectural environment of Aarhus, Denmark. The office was founded in 2001 by Mikkel Frost, Carsten Primdahl and Kolja Nielsen, and employs a staff of 25 architects including construct- ing designers and administrative personnel. CEBRA is a combination of a young and an experienced architec- tural office. We are young in the respect of age and mind, and our desire to constantly try to do better and achieve higher goals with innovative designs. on a large amount and variety of projects. Credo: “CEBRA’s ideology is project related. Instead of solving all tasks with the same approach and attitude, we develop a unique ideology for each project. This is because the conditions and framework, that we operate within, constantly change – sometimes during the actual design and construction phase. Our ideolo- gy is very spacious – it mutates and adapts according to circumstances. It is always present and always modern. Despite the ideological diversity there is a signature in our architecture – a way of doing things in relation to design and architectural spaces. It may be too superficial to call it a CEBRA style, but in many ways it is exactly what it is – a content management and aesthetic preference, that binds our projects together.”

CEBRA is one of four team members. 2006 CEBRA receives the most prestigious award in Scandinavia, the “Nykredit’s Architecture Award”, 2008 CEBRA participates in the Biennale once again – this time as the curator for the Danish pavilion, 2008

CEBRA architects – это датская компания, которая на- ходится в известном всему миру своей архитектурой городе Орхус. CEBRA – это сочетание молодости и зре- лости: мы молоды по возрасту и состоянию духа, мы стремимся идти вперед и добиваться большего в раз- работке современных дизайнов; наша зрелость – это наш опыт работы с большим количеством разноо- бразных проектов, это наши знания. Кредо: «Все для проекта! Мы по-разному под- ходим к разным проектам, разрабатывая для каждого свою уникальную концепцию. Это обу- словлено тем, что условия и рамки, в которых мы работаем, постоянно изменяются – иногда даже во время процесса проектирования или этапа строительства. Наша идеология очень всеобъем- лющая и разносторонняя. Она изменяется и адап- тируется в зависимости от условий. Она всегда современна. В дополнение к такому идеологиче- скому своеобразию у нашей архитектуры есть еще одна отличительная черта – она кроется в нашем подходе к дизайну и работе с архитектурным про- странством. Может быть, и не стоит давать этому громкое название «Стиль «ЦЕБРА»», но, по сути, это так и есть. Наши проекты связывает воедино грамотное управление содержанием и приоритет, который отдается эстетической стороне».
