The external image of the house is concise, northern, austere. Large windows relate it with Suprema- tism. Just like on paintings by Malevich, the house stands in an open area, its large windows reflect sky and clouds, which complete the poetic image. The house layout is conceived in such a way that the residents will be able to see the whole surrounding area. The cottage consists of a tower and an adjacent cubic volume with a roof terrace. The interior is permeated with two light wells. The glazed vertical shafts connect the two residential floors and on the roof are covered with the shed skylights. This does not violate the intimate nature of the rooms located upstairs, but enriches the visual con- nections of the internal spaces, and, what is even more important, provides not only lighting from the sides, which is familiar to the eyes, but also illumination from above, which creates a special light at- mosphere.
